Manny is rumored to have taken performance enhancing drugs. He’ll miss the next 50 games of the Dodger season, but this news hurts the game a lot more than it hurts Torre and the LA Blue. Despite it meaning that the Red Sox now have two tainted championships to go with their 86 years of nothingness, it really makes me sad. Manny was a New York City product. He loves the game and still has fun with it. For the sake of the game I never wanted his career to be tainted. Even after all those years of hating what he did to the Yankees, I still loved to watch him play. His classic career will now be overshadowed by the ugliest epidemic to ever hit baseball.
